Bescheinen Family Furniture has a proud tradition of quality, going back to 1946. The word "Family" has special meaning to us. We are truly a Family business. For the past 60 years, countless people from all over the US have become loyal customers. Bescheinen Family Furniture had its beginning just after WW2 in Loose Creek, a small town east of Jefferson City, Missouri.

My Father, Hubert Bescheinen, had just returned from military service with little more than the clothes on his back. With rural electrification in full swing, the demand for the new technology of radio, TV and household appliances was great. Expansion and changes to meet consumer needs were in progress. The 50's also introduced an extensive new variety of home furnishings.

I entered the business in 1972 and my brother Steven started in 1980 while the business was continuing to expand. Seeking a location in the lake area, an excellent facility was found in Versailles, MO in 1991.

Today, the Bescheinen Family continues to adapt to the needs of the community. There have been many changes in the 1st 60 years of business.
Many more are likely to occur in the future, just to meet our customers needs. We will always have the promise of value, quality and service that will never change. Even now, a third generation is delivering that promise to your home.
